Autumn is absolutely living its best life in 2025 isn’t it? So much nature about. Walking around on carpets of acorns and conkers. Big-jumper-but-not-coat weather. Toadstools and mushrooms all over the place. Superb work lads, really.

I feel like even when I let the system take over it sometimes runs when I don’t think it should. Probably that all means something is off in my set up.

I didn’t have CH as a kid, and I do turn it off-off and try not to turn it on until as late into the autumn as I can. I get Joe’s point that the thermostat should just manage when the switch on day is but I just don’t trust that it will get it right.

(Sorry I have a Pavlovian need to bring that episode up whenever I can. One of the best audio packages I’ve heard. Very basic of me but it is what is!)
