Found out where the landlady lives, got a taxi there and I was banging on her door this morning to say this is totally unacceptable. Apparently she didn't know it was in this state (not sure I believe her) but she gave me the key to the top flat to use that kitchen. 3 flights of stairs up. oh joy!

No idea but just can't believe they'd leave us like this, they've been working here for 9-10 weeks, they knew xmas was coming. it's just ridiculous

I am FURIOUS right now, Builders have been working on the flats here for 9+ weeks and I've just been told they are going now and wont be back until Jan 5th, but my kitchen/bathroom have NO power, can't cook or use the oven for xmas or even have a shower. I'm so effing pissed off, bastards they are!

So.. my game actually works, no crash and you can move the guy around ..but the map is fubar and I really don't know why. hmmm!

Still plodding along trying to learn C64 assembly, struggling a lot but not giving up. Wifey asked "Why are you trying to learn this for the C64 when your love is the Spectrum" ..well she's not wrong! but I said "because I was told Z80 was 10x harder". she then agreed I was right to go c64. lol

Kinect was the sole reason I bought a PS4 instead of upgrading my current Xbox 360 to an Xbox One. I will not have a camera in my house, so as you couldn't at that time buy an Xbox One without the Kinect, I changed over to Sony.

Today I'm having a change.. I'm going to have a play with Next Build Studio for the Spectrum Next.

I've been trying to set up a Spectrum Next dev via VScode and windows. Have tried several videos on setting it up but none of them have worked for me. If anyone has a text or video guide on how to get this working and it really works, please throw it my way!

I think it's great (well the first series) I mean it's not as good as UFO but then imo nothing is.

C64 Assembly Update: Got my sprite moving onscreen now! Part of me wants to push on to making an animated sprite, part of me wants to quit now and end on a high! 😊

I never got into this because all the constant grinding for materials put me off but jeez that looks so cool, tempted to install it and have another go.

As soon as my funds will allow it I'll be grabbing one ...or maybe two.

I have no time for flat earthers and even less time for moon landing denying tossers. I swear some of them do it just to get attention.
