What’s new is other people finally recognizing it.

Starting over is frustrating, but it gives us hope for something beautiful. I challenged myself not to give up on this silly tree idea. I’m figuring it out as I go, and the imperfections feel smaller. Unfinished, but I’m enjoying the journey more.

I have a love/hate relationship with bangs, but they always remind me to put a little effort into myself.

Today I weighed 197lb at the doctor’s office. It felt good to see a number under 200. My heaviest was roughly 260. I do love my body-it tells a story, but I was severely depressed and I want to be honest about that.

One of those days.

I typically don't like myself with my hair up, but I feel really pretty tonight.

However you spend today, take a moment to remember those who gave everything for our freedom. Their sacrifice is the reason we get to live in the light of liberty. I hope we never lose sight of what that truly means.
