Why has the military disengagement in eastern Ladakh left so many within India’s strategic community uneasy? Because the terms fall far short of restoring the April 2020 status quo and represent India’s biggest territorial setback since 1962.

Gujarat ahead of Maharashtra in wealth & economic success. Blame BJP’s power hunger games
The past decade – for most of which the state has been ruled by the Mahayuti – has not been kind to Maharashtra, especially in comparison to its sibling Gujarat.
The BJP’s rise in the past decade has contributed to the eclipsing of Maharashtra as an industrial powerhouse.
Since 2014, the state has slid in national rankings of per capita income, industrialisation and manufacturing.
