well same to an extent, but I think that’s the stress of it all more than the football being crap. I’ve really enjoyed the CL and the league cup (until last night). maybe we are playing more freely and that’s why. or maybe it’s just that I’m less stressed out about those competitions at those stages

and yeah it’s a bit dull (I think everyone is this season—either dull or crap anyway) but it is all very much a culmination of being ruthlessly and increasingly Professional over a period of years, which is all Arteta.

I don’t really agree with this. we might be winning by default to an extent, but we are only in that position because we have been ~this~ for the last four years. over that full period we have been the best side in England. so we worked hard to be in the position to win in the absence of a superteam
