I was thinking about this today. I think even a little geographical or temporal distance would make what’s happening extremely clear.

Normalcy bias is an immense problem. I’ve talked recently with stock brokers who cannot imagine any real disruption to the worldwide economic system, and insurance brokers who cannot imagine that the ACA exchange subsidies will not be restored to levels very similar to last year’s…by November 1st!

It’s illegal, but the only avenue to stop him is impeachment. Tearing down the White House, demanding $230m (soon to be billions more), murdering people in the ocean, invading cities - these are all done to show us he won’t be impeached regardless of what he does.

Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.
