But it is also important to encourage students to use critical thinking in understanding how AI platforms work and how to evaluate them. This is just the beginning of AI's impact on media education.

It was fun to see how students applied AI to their projects, but it was also interesting to get their insight into what it did and didn't do well. Not only does AI help with learning new concepts, it provides the agency and control for one to do so on their own.
