The Blaze claimed they "adhered to professional journalistic standards" in the now-retracted pipe bomber story. But they did not appear to have ever contacted the woman they accused of a major crime, before or after publication, which is the most basic journalistic standard that exists.

And here's another fact that doesn't neatly fit the narrative: Wealthy people living in a town doesn't make the town wealthy, and it doesn't automatically translate to strong supports for less wealthy people who live in the town

The wealth is there too. Obviously! But I think these facts (and the people behind them) get obscured and ignored often by Brookline's reputation
