One of my "radical" reform opinions is that more states should regularly audit local budgets. www.wthr.com/article/news...

Trinity University closes the book on its esteemed publishing house The highly regarded academic press affiliated with the private liberal arts college in San Antonio is closing, Trinity University confirmed Wednesday.

Horrible news about Trinity U Press closing. Academic presses are some of my favorites. They are committed to campus + community intellectual life. Trinity excelled in Texas architecture and landscape architecture and the stories of SA and South Texas. bit.ly/4229Xmp

Out today: The Torah that says, “You must not oppress foreigners. You know what it’s like to be a foreigner, for you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt.”

In this sense, fighting for immigrant justice is, to Jews, a religious and cultural obligation.
