Hosting a Desert Island Discs dinner party tonight. Building the menu around produce from the allotment seemed like such a good idea until I had to dig it out in the frost 🥶🥶🥶

A lovely run to get the weekend started! Should have been doing Conwy Half this weekend, but a dodgy hamstring has put paid to that! So a gentle 5k around Letchworth will have to do. The last km to Halo (Soil) and Bodies (Drowning Pool) were a little less gentle and a lot of fun!

Congratulations to @alisonleary1.bsky.social for being elected Deputy President of the RCN. One of the most respected and thought-provoking people I know, she is the ultimate advocate for people who work in healthcare systems and patient safety. A superb appointment.

Thank you. Keeping an open mind and hoping for the best is still my mindset for now. We have to keep driving them in the right direction. It is one hell of a mess to sort out.
