They are terrified, absolutely. They should be because I can only see it getting worse. I'm terrified as someone in the LGBTQ+ family too. But it is NOT the case that they can't exist. End of story.

And to suggest that that is the case is playing into the hands of those wanting to fight the culture war on these grounds, who use similar exaggeration to spread the sort of misinformation that drives the culture war.

What citizens can't exist in public? If you're referring to the Supreme Court decision on trans women not being women, I disagree with said judgement, and will always fight for my trans brothers and sisters, it's not true that they can't exist in public.

I'm not a fan of this government, but I had completely forgotten how beneficent the Cameron, Johnson and Truss governments were, I just needed you to remind me 🙄

And a second parter, does not having an equivalent ruling for men and trans men not therefore breach the equality act as well?

A question for @goodlawproject.bsky.social. given yesterday's ruling only applies to biological sex for women and trans women, does this mean trans men can be used to fill the female spaces on boards in Scotland? If not why not? And would that not the ruling itself breach the equality act?

There's also Turners syndrome, which is XO, and whilst not *technically* a sex development disorder as you have only an X and are phenotypically female, is still relevant to add to the list as your genetic makeup is different to the phenotype (i.e. XX = female)
