We climbed Julia vargas TWICE even as a bike commuter I'd avoid it hahahah

that was my friend's second bike ride in Metro Manila.

I gave her a crash course on box turns and safe gutter surfing, but nothing beats experience (she got plenty that day lol).

The route this year was pretty tough even for veteran bike commuters because we had to cross c5, a notoriously difficult, unfriendly road with barely any at-grade crossings, TWICE. I don't even have photos or vids from that section of our ride 😭 #bikesky

Happy anniversary to this useless post. Metro Manila is car-congested more than ever. Thanks to transport officials who think expressways through cities and road widening projects are actual solutions. We deserve better than this.
