Finished my ninth marathon (including the five that were part of Ironmans) at #ShiprockMarathon on Saturday! Beat my previous best marathon time from Philly 2009 by 21 minutes! 2009 32 years old 5:25:59 2025 48 years old 5:04:47 Fourth place in my age group!

It hasn’t even been a week, and we’re already watching the dismantling of our institutions, right up to and including the 14th amendment itself. The Constitution is just words without power if the agreement to abide by them is broken.

I hear ya. I discovered that the other day too. Him and Vance. I checked Instagram, and wasn’t following either there, then a day later, I was following them on Instagram too. I’m considering leaving Meta altogether too. It’s getting as toxic as Twitter.

Coming off a successful assessment week with #tridottraining ready to hit the pool with my new pace zones, aaaaaand… pool is closed indefinitely because the pump on the heater went out. 😫 Next closest pool is 30 miles away. #ruraltriathleteproblems #ironman #ironmantraining

Pool schedule was abbreviated this week, so today’s swim turned into a hike/puppy play date for our girl dog and me. She and her buddies even found a couple of deer legs discarded by a hunter. Now she’s sleeping off the adventure!

No luck with downloading my Twitter archive, so I just let it all go. It was fun to reminisce on the early days when a bunch of athletes who didn’t know each other IRL just cheered each other on in our various races. #ironman #triathlon #endurance

Anyone know how to get their twitter archive? I tried, and all they sent was the .txt file explaining how to use the data file they never sent. I can live without my archive, but there is definitely some good old stuff in there I'd rather not lose.
