That's a slightly inaccurate way to put it. The company wanted to sample Hopes and Dreams for Pale Rain, but instead ended up sampling that song Toby composed for them. They also released an alternate version of the commercial featuring Toby's actual song.

I'm surprised this temp name made it into the release builds. Sounds like a trademark infringement lawsuit waiting to happen.

Must have been a last minute rewrite when Toby decided the word "humane" would be weird for monsters to use.

What's really weird about this and also the rhythm minigame is that contrary to Tenna's claims, losing nine times doesn't actually make either of these games impossible to lose again. It feels like this is referencing something the developers forgot to implement.

Yeah, I think humans tend to suck at classifying things well because they often jump to extremes. Probably similar to how a B movie is already considered terrible, with any letters below that simply going unused.
