I liked it a lot. I don't think it's well regarded amongst either fans or general audiences, but I thought it was dripping with the sauce.

It's very much in conversation with the game and I felt it did an excellent job in pulling out the messages and characters from that narrative.

imo the highlight of the series for Calvard is where Rocksmith gets you all together and does his thing about all the young people here from all walks of life needing to shape the future of the country. It's then dropped like a rock. I do hope it comes back for Horizon 2.

Star Twinkle is sooooo gooooood

In retrospect it's really funny that half of Nian's siblings have super high roles in government, most are extremely easy to find and she starts her 'Let's save the world' quest by bothering her hikki sister who hates her and her drunk retired sister who is done with it.

This is the line that cemented Star Twinkle as in my top three. Not 'Aren't we all humans/people' very specifically 'Aren't we all aliens?' aren't we all people who deserve love and acceptance BECAUSE of our differences? Nobody is normal. We're a universe of others.
