Lol. I had no issues with my Bambu P1S until last night when I had to take apart the AMS to remove stuck filament.

To be fair the new generation of 3d printers is dramatically better. I think the Ender series was both a blessing and a curse to the hobby.

Yeah... I saw a product called Compost3D, but it looks like they aren't at market yet. I saw another called OLIVE which is made from Olive bones. Their website won't let me order. :/

Yeah, finding a place that will do industrial composting for PLA is almost impossible over here.

Does anyone know of a biodegradable filament I can use for #3dprinting that can be purchased in the US? Everything I've found is in Europe and won't ship internationally. 😭

I've come to realize that my Kindle is the last piece of technology that consistently brings me joy. Everything else is designed to extract value out of me. The Kindle though? Almost exclusively adds it.

Why would they do that? Are they upgrading to new spaces for the Maker and Automotive stuff?

I don't have kids, but if I did, I can think of worse things for them to learn in school than how to make stuff and how to fix a car...

Does this have an onboard micro controller or nah?

I have some old pi's that I'm using for projects, but the value is way less compelling than it used to be. It's really frustrating.

You don't need a Pi for GPIO. You can buy an adapter that gives you GPIO from USB. I think Adafruit makes it. There's also knockoffs on AliExpress.

You can also plug an Arduino into any Android device and essentially get GPIO by communicating via serial.
