@adamkinzinger.substack.com How many times did you have to shoot that backwards nothing-but-can hat toss? Impressive none the less!

09.10.2025 21:16 β π 11 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0It's worded as βsells, delivers, furnishes, disseminates, provides, exhibits, or presents any material or performance that is obscene or harmful to juveniles", which is vague enough to apply to any website which accepts user submissions, really. This could mean YouTube, social media, or forums.
01.10.2025 04:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ohio.
01.10.2025 04:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am doing none of it. I refuse to hand over any identity verification stuff to some sketchy 3rd party ID verifier who will inevitably accidentally release it or abuse it. What I will do is reach out to my state representative and complain.
01.10.2025 02:09 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There is one which took effect today.
01.10.2025 02:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My understanding is that MS requires the company/website/app to do their own age verification and hold onto copies of the identity documents, leading to an egregious privacy nightmare. Ohio's law allows for deletion of identity documents once verification is processed.
01.10.2025 02:05 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All of us, and some folks not in Ohio... Any site with actual adult content or could be perceived to have mature content is potentially subject to fines. Bluesky is doing what they have to do. What Ohio residents need to do is to reach out to their state reps and object to them.
01.10.2025 01:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yell at the Ohio legislature that passed this provision in the insanity that is thus year's budget bill. I am going to resch out to mine.
01.10.2025 01:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same problem here, although not for business, but just as annoyed and frustrated.
01.10.2025 01:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Please add more detail to your story or provide additional reporting about the follow-on effects of these laws. Our speech and content shouldn't be censored arbitrarily or gated by handing over private information.
01.10.2025 01:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Doubly troubling is that the age verification system being used by Bluesky is run by Epic Games who is itself in a bad to be bought by Jared Kushner and a Saudi Arabian financial fund. And this is one of the less sketchy ID verification platforms.
01.10.2025 01:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeah, not just age verification for adult content websites. Bluesky requires age verification to be able to access DMs. I don't really feel like turning over my ID to some random 3rd party platform to access features here.
01.10.2025 01:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Looks like they have switched to using "ckdf.org" with only a single email address, rather than using a website. The domain is registered with Namecheap.
29.09.2025 10:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Looks like the same IP addresses are used for both sites, and both from Amazon AWS.

24.08.2025 04:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0@kylekulinskishow.bsky.social You have to watch the end of Philip Defranco's video from today... He totally cooked the CEO of KIND, calling him out for both-sidesing and false equivalency...
youtu.be/bf5q2oacArc?...
Very much the same here... It's even enough to the point that Scott Galloway is right on the verge of being too much. He's rightly identified problems with wealth inequality, but his views on "manliness" are just at the edge of my comfort with toxicity.
05.08.2025 21:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What a brilliant idea... Keep scammers so busy they can't spend time scamming...

Just found this interview and really appreciate your positions. We are in DESPERATE need for something fresh, new, and down to earth in Ohio. Fellow Buckeye here, and you are 100% spot on with your approach.
23.07.2025 07:42 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Absolutely sickening... Had to counter a distant family member making a joke about folks being eaten by alligators at a family gathering last night. His rationale was that is was OK because they were illegal... My stance is that regardless of legality, they're human beings and not to be tortured.
06.07.2025 12:43 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A sprinkling of Docker with Portal error, a smidgen of Podman, and a whole lot of non-containerized services, as that's generally my preference.
25.06.2025 13:33 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com I've been watching the confusion between yourself and Jen Psaki about ranked-choice voting. The simplest real-world example was the process of the 2020 Iowa caucuses where folks from the smallest pools of voters get shuffled to the highest remaining candidate preference.
25.06.2025 13:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am so happy for you to have competent representation... This Buckeye is (mis)represented by Jon Husted and Bernie Moreno, pinnacles of strength of character...
23.06.2025 01:51 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeah, most protests were in the hundreds or thousands... There were apparently over 12 MILLION folks turning out at over 2,000 events. Even doing the basic math and assuming some semblance of average, that's 6,000 people per event. My red city of 40k had 350 folks protesting. So dishonest...
16.06.2025 12:50 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You have a point; I was looking at the national level and not the local level. Yet more of a reason to raise a ruckus about the idea that it's a culture wear issue and not something which is a part of "waste, fraud, and abuse".
14.06.2025 13:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Good thing that the federal funding only accounts for about 10% of NPR and PBS' budget. It's going to be tighter, but this effort won't serve to kill off those organizations. Make sure to bring that up so that this appears like a weak culture war issue on the part of the GOP.
14.06.2025 05:25 β π 41 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0The sad part is that spam and email abuse has made the email standards so terrible that it's a royal pain to host your own email, which is what I would suggest folks really do.
12.06.2025 23:14 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't know that this is or isn't true, but simply the fact that the story exists should tell us all that ALL code powering our election infrastructure should be open source.
11.06.2025 00:33 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Enraged American here. For all the calls for peaceful protests, law enforcement needs to be held to an even higher standards of adhering to the rule of law. This needs to stop, and that officer needs investigated and held accountable.
