Do you ever get days where you feel like you’ve accidentally woken up in an alternate universe?

Today ended up making absolutely no sense. Words that came out of people’s mouths made me question whether I’d inadvertently swallowed mind bending narcotics.

It put the bonk in bonkers.

Tummy muscles really rather sore. Paracetamol and hot water bottle in an attempt to ease.

Had to clean out the litter tray at 4:30 as my precious cat refuses to poop in one that already has a wee in it.

I have been gifted medicinal Lebkuchen by the eldest offspring

She knows me well

A slow visit to the chemist to pick up antibiotics.

Head feels swimmy now I’m back in bed.

Bit disappointed I got tablets. Was hoping for that banana milkshake that the kids get.

Being an adult is rubbish isn’t it?

I mean she was extremely thorough and just doing her job but the doctors phone call was like the Spanish Inquisition

Minus the poking with soft cushions

Clock slowly ticking round as I wait to get in the scrum to try and speak to a doctor this morning

Whatever it is it’s buggered the colonoscopy on Tuesday

Think this might be a chest infection off the back of the cold a few weeks ago

Why does this stuff always seem to happen on a weekend?

What a difference a few hours can make to your mood

This morning I was all set, feeling positive

After a day of a sore chest and continuous coughing, I’m not so chipper

On top of that the prep solution never turned up so even if the cough does clear up I’ve still got to chase the meds

Arse!

Smudge spray ran out this morning so knocked up a batch of my own to keep me going.
