Large, all brown (with a bit of white mottling) raptor perched on top of one of three parallel upright posts.

Last fall at Saranac Village Nature Park, I saw a juvie Bald Eagle perched on the chin-up bars on the walking path. I kept expecting it to fly off. It didn't until I was almost directly in front of it, less than 10 ft away. Alas, I only had my iPhone camera and don't know how to take a decent shot.

Eagle perched on a tree branch, body facing the camera, head turned to the right in profile. The bird is dark brown with a white head, neck, and tail.

Fairly distant Bald Eagle from last fall at a spot where I like to take my morning walk. One of four eagles that hung out in that park. I look forward to seeing them this year. (West Michigan)
