Another little test bowl from the most recent firing. Turned out a bit more subtle than intended, but I’m not mad at it.

Ceramic Phylactery (Floral Variant)
A broad-shouldered and solemn, tapers to a throat as narrow as a spell’s final syllable. Featuring a necromantic green that glows like swamp-light, deepening to black at rim and base—as if the bottle is slowly sinking into its own shadow.

Sharing a progress picture on my new performance mask. This is just the substructure so far. The jaw is attached with a hing to move while I speak. I’ll be starting the sculpt which will be made using epoxy clay. A goal has been to build in a way that will allow for upgrading as I progress.

Another of my 3-d environments in progress for my upcoming D&D game. This is the “ lantern market”, a place to barter and source of quests. I need to finish populating the space with objects then light it with its namesake an abundance of colorful lanterns.

New glaze tests on bottles. As there are so many variables when it comes to glazing ( things like location within the kiln, and the height, shape, and texture of a piece can all effect how glazes behave) it’s important to try them out on a variety of shapes.

3 hand drawn, blue porcelain tiles hang from a poplar branch. The leftmost features a room with two chairs, the middle a portrait of a man wearing a striped balaclava with a heart shaped face opening, the third a hotdog with a price Albert piercing. Below is a painted disk featuring an oil painted tableau featuring the 3 elements of the tiles combined: a man wearing a striped balaclava sitting on the chairs in the room, with the pierced hotdog on the chairs next to him. Below that is a disk with an inset of carpet that matches the painted scene. All these elements are hanging on a yellow rope.

It’s part of my witch ladder series.
Once I’m finished with the painting I will also be adding in a few more hanging elements from the top including a scale replica of the mace, and the sunburst mirrors
