There seems to be a pattern w.r.t. followthrough.

There is no way to consume any amount of their work product and come away with the impression that they were either competent to perform or serious about accomplishing any task outside of blocking the Core Spaces project.

At the LWV event, one Library Lot advocate used her public comment/question time to complain that local news outlets never used her pretty (forced perspective) photo of the planter. After the event she approach Ryan Stanton to complain, and he told her he used the photo 3 times in articles. 😂

A parking lot with a large cement planter full of plants that are gone by, are invasive, or have died. In front of it is a dead tree.

Just saw all the cool events that @aadl.org has scheduled (in addition to the Summer Game!) and compared that to what the Center of the City/Commons group has going on. Seems as if they can’t even keep a planter looking good. Vote yes on A & B, for crying out loud. This is embarassing. #A2Council

I’m kind of not surprised. A bunch of stuff the LGC’s legal counsel and president have been saying on Nextdoor this week, about what they’ve done with money for the No campaign, sounded questionable-to-illegal, but IANAL. I am interested to see how this resolves.

ceding ground on unit count is what bothered me the most about the #a2council resolution last week. Height limits were annoying but workable, but this takes a ton of *less expensive* housing off the table in more than half the city.
