@simonwdc.bsky.social is correct. But, as I said about a week ago, Maxwell is on the Trump Train Fast Track to Home Confinement and new employment.

So, the DSCC Administrator would have had to have waived her "sex offender" PSF. Is this the person who issued that waiver?

Could you please cite the BOP rule, regulation or policy that prohibits a sex offender (with or without >10 years left on her sentence) from being transferred to a minimum security camp (like FPC Bryan where Maxwell was transferred to) unless her sex offender status is waived?

Missing the real issue: Do the ~80M who put him in the WH (again) believe he is dumb or a fascist? Or, if they do, do they care? Without answers to those questions, the debate between you and Mulvaney (which you clearly won) doesn't solve anything.

What rule(s) made Maxwell ineligible to be transferred?
Cite the specific rule(s) please.

Maxwell on fast track from ICC at Bryan, TX, to Community Corrections, to Halfway House, to Home Confinement, to "Permanent Employment" at ... Mar a Lago or the White House?

After Maxwell graduates from ICC at Bryan, Texas, facility, and goes to CCC, home confinement? The train is on the track.

ICC (at Bryan, Texas) then CCC then Home Confinement for Maxwell?

Bottom line: Getting Count 6 thrown out would be a huge win for Machelle which could possibly open up other downstream wins like new trial (if prejudicial error) and T pardon or commutation (of the few years left on her sentence).

This is also about Trump rewarding his perceived friends (Bove) & punishing his perceived enemies (Dems). Law firms, Universities, Media Moguls, Corporations, Foreign Countries ... all bending at the knee. Say what you want about Trump. He has a great track record of getting what he wants.

If evidence solely relevant to (SCOTUS overturned) Count 6 somehow tainted 3 &/or 4, new trial on that/those count(s). But by then she would have served a large% of 10 year sentence. I don't see Trump pardoning or commuting anytime before a SCOTUS decision (assuming cert. grant).

But by next year (assuming SCOTUS agrees with her) Maxwell would have served ~6 years of her 10 year term. So, any commutation of her remaining ~4 year sentence by Trump won't be quite as noteworthy. And, if SCOTUS has already thrown out the 20 year sentence on Count 6, what's 4 more years.

@ericcolumbus.bsky.social if Maxwell wins in SCOTUS (sometime next year), only Count 6 (240 month concurrent sentence) is dismissed. Counts 3 (60 month concurrent sentence) & 4 (120 month concurent sentence) remain unless, on remand, there's some other ground to dismiss? @neemaemam.bsky.social

What is known about the pre-plea agreement discussions btw Epstein's atty & AUSA/USA? Did the former request broad protection for all known and unknown coconspirators? If later intentionally included that broad protection, shouldn't the "United States" be held to the bargain?

We will never know if Epstein's intent in agreeing to plead guilty was to benefit Maxwell. But, as amicus argues, shouldn't the Government face the consequences of drafting such a broad plea agreement which protects all potential coconspirators, known or unknown? Why drafted so broadly? Acosta know?

Important Note: If Maxwell is successful before SCOTUS, only 1 of 3 convictions thrown out. So, very likely, still needs Trump's support (pardon, commutation) to get out of jail early card.

Even if only UI (no DUI), T's DOJ isn't going to initiate any further prosecution of GM. But, as you note, persons implicated by GM (such as Clinton?) are likely T targets if, and it's a really big if, no procedural or evidentiary obstacles. And, in any event, takes focus off T. T goal accomplished.

First step: Identify potential NYS crimes?
Then we can more intelligently analyze any potential constitutional or statutory obstacles to NYS prosecution.
Which NYS county has venue? Where did Maxwell commit any acts that constitute a NYS crime?
