NEW: Diddy jury has asked to review testimony from Cassie and an escort about incidents where Cassie was beaten and coerced during and after freak-offs. This is the key sex trafficking evidence - it’s exactly what prosecutors want the jury to focus on. Another good sign for the prosecution.

NEW: Second Diddy trial jury note asks for clarification on the drug distribution jury instruction. Drug distribution is the most straightforward racketeering activity to prove the RICO conspiracy. Great sign for the prosecution that this is the jury’s focus.

DIDDY UPDATE: After deliberating for only 2 hours, Diddy jurors complained that one juror isn’t following the court’s instructions. Notably, the defense wanted to strike this juror in jury selection. Jury issues this early is good for the Combs defense. #Diddy

Maurene Comey: The defense says Combs didn’t need guns because he is a hands-on guy. Sure he was - with his girlfriends. When he was going to kill another man, he needed a gun. When he was beating women half his size, he didn’t.

Maurene Comey delivered the best rebuttal I’ve ever heard in the Diddy trial. Jury gets the case on Monday. Before July 4, I expect convictions on at least 4 of the 5 counts - including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking of Cassie, which has a mandatory minimum of 15 yrs in jail.

My Diddy trial take:

Very strong case on 2 transportation for prostitution counts.

Strong case on RICO and sex trafficking of Cassie - which carries a 15 yr mandatory minimum in jail.

Weak case on sex trafficking of Jane.

Defense is closing today at 9 am.

DIDDY TRIAL UPDATE: Strong prosecution case on the RICO count so far. Diddy used his businesses and staff to commit crimes - drugs, kidnapping, arson and bribery. It’s his Kingdom and everyone is there to serve him.
