Desire to do another #SWRPG campaign is spiking pretty high right about now.

Once again have fallen asleep listening to an audiobook and must spend time searching for the correct spot to resume.

The plot is slightly out of focus.

It's pretty neat that Christopher Ruocchio did recaps of each of the Sun Eater novels in his own words via YouTube.

Had a gap in reading the series while waiting on a Libby hold, and it was really nice to get back up to speed without searching through fan wikis and random channels.

Have been hearing hype for Stormlight Archives for a long while, so finally decided to read it, but it was a struggle.

Really enjoyed Mistborn (both eras), Elantris, and the various Sanderson novellas but had to fight tooth and nail to get through this one.

The hour is late as five DnD players crawl into their beds after a long session.

Alone at the table, a GM sheds a tear while erasing the dungeon from the vinyl battlemap... bittersweet feelings swell because the group got so caught up on backstories and roleplay in town they only explored one room.

It's not science fiction...

The GM is over here working out the geopolitical turmoil of an entire region and the balance of a three-way fight between deities... you can at least figure out why you're on an adventure (or make your own deer puns).

Was aware that a few players had used AI art for character images, but that was whatever...

...but in a single session, ChatGPT wrote the Paladin's shout as he used Vow of Enmity, the Druid's pun about shifting into an elk, and the Monk's wise teaching when someone asked about his monastery.

Can't believe "No ChatGPT at the DnD table please" is a houserule that needs considering... but here we are.

Oh... that doesn't mean Assassin's Creed. Whoops.

Just ended up with the starter set for Dragonbane and excited to learn more about it.

Silly nitpick, but the narrator of this audiobook says H. U. D. every time instead of HUD, and it's oddly immersion breaking.

And it's a sci-fu book that constantly mentions things on the heads-up display...
