Started our Dragonbane campaign this evening. Highlight of the session was when the wise old Wolfkin mage cast a lightening spell at three orc warriors, miscast it and hit himself reducing his hit points to zero! Once healed by the cleric we suggested he should change his name to Wil E Coyote 😂

Writing your own game then deciding not to play it at your own table would be a strange thing.
"Hey, you know that new game we collectively designed and created, spent millions of $ on, let's NOT use that and just play that other game"

Fandom is another word for fanatic. They're not a crowd who take change very well. But complain when it becomes stale

Isn't this down to how fast you want a system to feel at the table. A superhero ttrpg needs to feel faster. The mechanic should look technical but running oiled and smooth. One roll with multiple results.
Did I hit? Where did I hit? How much did it hit for?

How do you hand flight in your ttrpg?
As in a character that has wings of some kind or just able to fly probably by magic.
