This is TRULY awful, what the fuck. It'll shrink the space for organizing, journalism, and dissent as a whole!

Also, what's with the "I'm a dad." NO ONE CARES IF YOU'RE A DAD. Does having children make you stupid? I stg, every censorship wave uses children to launder bullshit.

The Border Patrol Has Been a Cult of Brutality Since 1924 Since its founding, the U.S. Border Patrol has arguably been the most politicized and abusive branch of federal law enforcement.

Credit to @immalkwalahi. Stills from the original Silent Hill 2 are compiled with alternative captions. The stills are from the scene where James meets Angela in the graveyard. The captions show Return to Silent Hill's Rotten Tomatoes score and Silent Hill Fans' reaction of "It's just... I guess I really don't care if it's terrible or not."

Honestly, this πŸ‘‡πŸ½ Return to Silent Hill is v flawed, but it's also not deserving of vitriol. The impeccable games still stand, and I dug what this film tries to do with the lore of the town.

The Silent Hill games mean a whole lot to me, and it'll always be a joy to see that world on the big screen.

currently reading: Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker πŸ—½

two-thirds of the way in, and this book is shaping up to be one of the best horror novels of the 2020s. i can feel an article about it cooking up at the back of my brain as i read - about the writing of pandemics, precarity, grief, and solidarity.

Inside Candace Owens plans to dominate women's media + Starbucks panic button, the 'first machine war,' ghost town vacays, DeepSeek drama, NFLtubers, and the White House begins credentialing content creators

SCOOP: Candace Owens is launching a new media platform including paywalled content, a book club and fitness app, which will provide women with β€˜80’s-style at home workout videos. I wrote about her quest to target millennial and Gen Z women, especially young mothers.

Special time seeing three of Matthew Hopper's short films, including the premiere of Elephant w/ @aliwoods.bsky.social, earlier today 🎟 Each one had a valuable perspective on masculinity - thinking about how men relate to one another, and asking how they can express their vulnerabilities.
