Maybe it's to keep the game relevant for longer? Dead Cells is still a game people talk about and it's the kind of game the devs can just keep adding to it, might be better for it in the long run, but definitely would've enjoyed a typical Castlevania game, still excited though 😬

I created a tiny Godot tool for instancing and animating MultiMeshinstances along a Path3D.

Megan and I really love playing Abzu and Sword of the Sea, so I wanted to take a stab at creating something that could mimic the look of all those fishies swimming around!

If they're just adding stuff they could add normal gyro controls (horizontal + vertical), it's so strange they opted for the single axis control scheme

It doesn't help how the algorithm favors negativity in general, but people always seem to be looking for a 'hot take' rather than a genuine analysis if something is actually good or not

I wonder if people would've treated the game differently if it hadn't been announced as THE biggest reveal of the game awards 🤔
