We asked whether respondents thought different actors bring people together or drive them apart
Net scores were positive for messaging apps (+19) & search engines (+12) and negative for social media (-13). But journalists (-29), news media (-27) and politicians (-55) were perceived as more divisive

Most people are sceptical of platforms as a source of news about politics
Only 30% trust social media, 31% trust messaging apps and 37% trust video networks. Generative AI (30%) is much less trusted than search engines (55%).

La France n'a pas attendu les manipulations de l'information sur X ou sur TikTok pour se doter d'un opérateur dédié à l'éducation aux médias et à l'information ( #EMI).
Le CLEMI a eu 40 ans l'année dernière.

Dans cet épisode @damienliccia.bsky.social soulève un point très juste, pour combattre la désinformation il faut la comprendre et la réponse ne peut être exclusivement politique, elle nécessite l'implication de la société civile, de la recherche et des citoyens.
