It's too warm to sleep in the UK currently so I'm just sat listening to Nine Inch Nails, thinking about how cool it was to finally see them live earlier this week

This band is responsible for my favourite album ever, and is a huge reason I felt inspired to ever touch a DAW

Very close to finishing my tech audio reel that I've been working on for the last few months and maaaan I hope it's worth it.

I'm trying to not let the devastation of being laid-off get in the way of my career and my progression, but I'm hoping this hard work pays off soon

This is why they delayed it to May 2026 and it was honestly worth it, this is so cool!

The original Ghost of Tsushima is one of my go to games for just immersing myself in a stunning audio/visual landscape. Can't wait to hear your work in this sequel! (And releasing so soon wow)

Can't wrap my head around the decision to lay off veteran developers that shaped the franchise to begin with.

I've railed on "stop outsourcing your whole audio process" because teams do not keep any knowledge or skills for the future, that they can use in prototypes or build upon with people who actually know what they're doing.

Even managing outsourcers needs some discipline knowledge.

I'd also recommend trying to do your theory before the practical side!

I personally found it much easier to focus on the practical driving once the theory was out of the way

I lost track of how many, but I started back in March of last year, and had one a week until I passed on the 2nd

I got laid off just weeks before Christmas… and now I’m back on the job market looking for Audio Design roles! I’d be incredibly grateful if you could get in touch or share. Here’s hoping 2025 is a little kinder. 🙏
