Between visa applications and moving, I've been taking a break from 3D outside of work and going head first into learning mini painting! Finally finished this scaly friend today (I'd have kept going but I was tired of painting snakes by the end 😭)

I was just laid off. My role at Giant Squid is being eliminated.

Digging through my old work. I made a hand painted model of the Temple Run app icon many years ago. I didn't work on the game, I just really liked the icon and wanted to paint some gold.

Started my visa process (wahooo exciting!!!), but omg VFS is the most unusable website in existence 😭 wdym I'm locked out for clicking too many times while checking appointments? Why does your contact form not submit aaaaaaa

Sadly the project I've been working on lost funding and I've been laid off, alongside ~half of my (very skilled) teammates of various disciplines.
So I'm on the hunt for new work!
