Happy Saturday y'all! Been a while since I've posted... but excited to share a new devlog today as I get back into the groove! Hope you enjoy a week of progress working on an important part of Dauphin's foundational gameplay.

Godot web exports just got a serious performance boost! Starting in 4.5 dev 5, builds use WASM SIMD by default, meaning better performance with no changes needed on your end.

I'm not going to receive my Switch 2 today because DPD sucks. If anyone wants to share their joy of getting a new toy, that would be great!

30.05.2025 12:46 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It is, but most distros are slow in picking up new kernels. Anything with 6.13 should be good. Debian is especially laggy with versions, it’s kinda it’s thing.
30.05.2025 12:43 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Awesome! I've been using linux for quite a while now, but after buying new laptop and learning that I have to wait for kernel to catch up with Lunar Lake CPUs, it's been a bit rough on Win11. Hopefully Debian 13 works.
30.05.2025 08:45 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Top three panels show the "flat and boring" versions of glowy lights. Their colors are cyan, yellow, and white. As they fade, they remain cyan, yellow, and white. Bottom three panels show the "interesting and bright" alternatives. The cyan light fades into blue. The yellow light fades into orange. The white light fades into a slightly yellow off-white.
Quick art tip: If your glowy lights look flat/boring (they read more like fog than light), it might be because you're fading from 100% to 0%.
Instead, try using an off color, and boost it to, say, 150%. This gives the same peak color, but fades through a different tone.
