Following mainly sound art, synth DIY and computer music based stuff but also accounts that make me laugh. Did PhD at Sheffield "Sonification as a means to generative music"..and posted about it, now seems increasingly irrelevant

Their extended bass response really brings Clement Freud alive. Should you want that.

The cheap adaptor I had before that was so shoddy with a ridiculous design flaw where it powered down if there was a nano second of no audio. Every full stop in an audiobook would result in the sentence cutting out then fading in again.

I sacked them off as usb ports seem so bloody fragile and constantly disconnecting. I got a bluetooth thing that you can plug old fashioned headphones into as I won't be seen dead with airpod things.

Went to the PokΓ©mon exchange stall with my son. Late capitalism, bloody hell. What a time to be alive.

Dinner parties are like some semi-mythical beast aren't they. Constantly invoked but I can't say I've ever been to one, not know anyone who has. Is it possible to say a dinner party has ever occured outside fiction?

It's unbelievable that anyone paying the slightest attention - let alone the person whose actual job it is - would look at the current system and say "yep, this is fine".

John Logie Baird's memoir, Television and Me, is very entertaining by the way.

It's picked up considerably and I'm enjoying it - having never seen JFK I found it very useful to read the Lee Harvey Oswald and Kennedy assassination Wikipedia entries though. Spoilers!

Reading Libra which seems very worthy, a modern classic and so on but I'm not sure if I give enough of a toss about Kennedy getting shot.

Isn't that quote actually Napoleon? That's what I shouted at the TV anyway. Google seems equivocal.

Reading my Xmas present "Perfection" - I know it's meant to be satire but the apartment described in the opening section sounds quite nice.

Spent last night trying to remake this old piece and ending up making quite a convincing fake Feldman work. Not sure if this a success or not.

The last couple of audiobooks I've listened to the dates have been read as "May One Nineteen-Thirteen", "August Twenty..." etc rather than May 1st or 1st of May. Is this sone weird audiobook standard set by publishers? It's a bit...weird.
