Also, if you ever want to watch a brilliant comedy that spoofs old mystery films/novels and was a HUGE influence on the film CLUE I HIGHLY recommend the Neil Simon written MURDER BY DEATH. The cast alone is a treat.

They are soooooo goood. Falk is sublime and such a delight in everything he does. If you ever get to see the 1965 Elaine May movie Micky and Nicky it is fucking brilliant.
All of Falk’s roles in Cassavetes films are 😘👌🏼as well.

Indeed. As well as being a longtime friend of well actor/director John Cassavetes who helped pioneer the American Cinema Verité. I always loved Falk because he was always assumed to be this funny character actor but a deftly layered person who would surprise audiences with his acting and depth.
