I am enjoying the Fallout show. But I have problems with the Fallout show I'm not sure how to articulate

...Like instead of always picking a dialogue option with the prior knowledge it uses a skill and will or will not succeed, you have to actually commit to roleplaying. You have to know your build really well, and you have to use your reading comprehension skills. It's friggin great.

To any of my friends who enjoy a cheeky playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas every now and then. I urge you to install the mod that removes skill check indicators from dialogue options. It's truly gamechanging. I've never been so engaged with this game...

This is not to say I think that it's bad. But it definitely would have been seen as a poor follow-up to TBP. It's dark and it's sad, mostly. But It's also tonally all over the place. And it's probably 3 or 4 tracks too long. It feels like it was a huge labor to make, but not a labor of love.
