Clancy spent 12 of his 15 Major League seasons with Toronto - including an All-Star appearance in 1982 - and ranks second in franchise history in starts, innings pitched, and complete games.

His impact on our organization

Very, very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim Clancy.

An original #Bluejays, he was with the team for the first 13 years of the franchise and his name is all over #Jays all-time leaderboards.

Always in the shadow of Dave Stieb & later Jimmy Key, he was a steady, reliable horse of a starter.
