For whatever reason my light box only works with me in the morning so here’s the finished model for day 11! Tested out quartering on this mk so I can proxy them as death company if I ever want to play 40K.

Today we undercoated the metallics on Fulgrim's snake body and actually this is my first time using Vallejo paints. I like the intensity of the colours but the coverage didn't feel as good as their GW equivalents #hobbystreak day 317

#HobbyStreak day 53:
Small RTT in a really nice tabletop store. A ~50/50 split of locals who normally don't go to tournaments and tourn gamers.
Really liked my switch to Zoggrok over a MB and the general core of my list.
Also got the random raffle and got myself some more Brutes

Started on the body in earnest #hobbystreak day 311

A ruined city board set up for a game of 40K. The near side of the board includes two Krieg Royal Dorns, a Malcador Defender, and a Praetor Armoured Assault Launcher - all huge hulking tanks in grey and green camouflage.

Two of my favourites, the long and heavy Malcador Defender (bristling with heavy bolters) and the huge squat missile launching Praetor.

An unlucky Royal Dorn is caught between Mortarion on one side and a Land Raider on the other.

With a combination of Stratagems, the Malcador moves, advances, shoots, charges, and seizes control of an objective from Mortarion (before being chopped to pieces next turn).

The next day of back-to-back 40K games has kicked off with an experimental 1,500pt Krieg Tank Company list, including some classic Legends vehicles like the Malcador Defender (king of overwatch) and the Praetor (big rockets but surprisingly low damage output).

3000 days looming, we must have a celebration or something

Work continues on Fulgrim, a lot of blending on the wings today to try and get lots of blue and purple tones in there. Still lots of mistakes and little bits to be corrected but we're making progress #hobbystreak day 310
