I’m ok with people examining my work up close largely. I know what the standard of my work is, which is far short of “showcase”, but people often react like it is - which I dislike. But that’s different to only “showcase” being “good enough” that it feels like is the drive of the hobby sometimes.

One of my concerns about the hobby is the feeling that permeates it of everything has to be “showcase”.

I hope that’s right, I love the Gorgers, so more ogres in that direction would be great.

I actually realised as I was making the post what the problem I have with painting the scheme is - my colour blindness is messing with me. Hence the need to show someone IRL. (Not just my trash photo.)

Oh absolutely GW games are terrible. If I want to play a good game KoW, Infinity and a few others way before GW.
But sometimes you have to play the games on offer.

With how long some models have taken me to get done, that’s not a bad timeframe :)

Last time I believed that was the Storm Orcs (I forget their actual name). I built and painted 1 regiment and was so disappointed I couldn’t even assemble a second regiment.

Every time I have believed that in the past I’ve gotten burnt by the rubbish.

Finally figured out a colour scheme that makes me want to paint Corsairs. So, 17 Emperor’s Children on my desk now are done, it will be test model time. #WarhammerCommunity

Its not even the difficulty of transporting them, its the fact you need 2 if not 3 of them to fully utilize the army. That's what needs to be fixed. 1 copy of the terrain is all that you should be using.

It does look like an alternate build. There is however only 1 new warscroll.

I got my pre-order sorted with my LGS... thanks GW for backing up and then releasing it all at once in Aus/NZ. 3 weeks of pre-orders at once *cries*

Been stuck with this for a while in Oz too.

She is not supposed to be a mortal member of the warband, rather a heavenly messenger, so she should be more unique. So raven black. People will read the bird as “corvid” then instead of “eagle” which is what I think will happen if you go browns.
