Thank you. When I was studying for my Archaeology subsid, my 'project' was a Ministry of Public Works dig at Housteads. We excavated the Roman Centurion's bathhouse. Mainly in the rain.
Highlights: watching BM staff take a tray of 100s of shards and construct a pot out of them.
Lowlights: tourists

No surprise there.

I agree. Trouble is, whenever it involves us, it becomes more that tribalism. See the absence of anti Russia marches, anti Syria marches, anti China marches, anti Iran marches,...and so on and so on. The same atrocities are committed ( I do not support Netanyahu). But the aggressors arent Jewish.

When I see the Auschwitz Museum attacked on X for not 'supporting Palestine' I am appalled.
There is no equivalence here. My grandparents were refused entry to Israel by the British authorities (Paperwork incorrect)They were sent back to Germany, by the British and then deported to Auschwitz.
