If you're a new artist here! Bluesky auto-moderation is VERY liberal with the "explicit sexual image" flag and even the mildest art can get slapped with it You aren't punished but you may get hidden a bit. I recomend going to settings> moderation and changing the flags looking at advanced settings

Sorry for dragging this out and thank you for reading this far. This is the last I’m going to speak on the matter and continue on with my silly little world.

I am the only person in my friend group that still is in the avatar hyperfixation trenches, for the first time in years I felt confident enough and safe enough to share my art. I get to finally interact with people that I’ve admired for a long time.

On a side note, due to previous trauma I have extreme social anxiety. And most of these events and some of the thing’s I’ve been told and heard have caused me extreme stress. Sorry if you saw my previous posts I disliked how I worded everything and wanted to try again.

I don’t really care about the racism, it’s annoying but fine. But accusing us of things that they did is crossing the line. My friends are no longer in the fandom due to not feeling safe.

Someone from the mod staff reached out to us about the lawsuit or something similar I don’t remember the actual name and we were all scared. One of the people who never spoke in vc called us crying not knowing what to do.

We blocked everyone and we went on our way, I was talking to one of their group members thinking I could trust them and there were a few recordings. My friend recorded it because we didn’t have any other evidence of their behavior. Especially since they kept deleting everything.

Two of the mods spoke out about putting a trigger warning or something akin and they were banned. My friend and I talked to them about it and since we were mods as well spoke out too, one thing after another we were banned for speaking out.

So before everything there was an avatar role-play server, everything was fine until a few people joined Chel included. Things started to get really dark in the rps and people were concerned, some of the mods and other people in general.

PSA to the avatar community, I recently posted a warning about Chel and I wanted to clarify about their reply.

This is the exact reason why I’ve never interacted with the avatar community, but at this point I don’t care. I’m drawing my gay child and interacting with people that love the same things I love. I can’t say for the others but I’ve had everyone blocked since it happened.

We are tired, and left this in 2024, I was only giving out a warning because it was not only my friend group who got attacked it was many others trying to express their concerns. A lot of the mods broke the server rules constantly and it made it an unsafe environment for some people.

They needed a way to process and reply to everything being said. I am tired, many people were extremely hostile during the entire encounter. Even though the group and I were being as cordial as possible.

They have talked about us in ways I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, people going behind backs and using trust that was given to them. The reason why we were recording was to process everything that was being said. One of my friends in the group couldn’t talk and since everything was going so fast
