23-10-2025: Following an unsuccessful appeal challenging the use of nitrogen gas, Alabama executed #AnthonyBoyd. Anthony's final words were, "I didn’t kill anybody. I didn’t participate in killing anybody. There can be no justice until we change this system…Let’s get it."

Tomorrow, Anthony Boyd is scheduled to be executed by nitrogen gas in Alabama. If executed, he will become the state's 5th execution this year, and the 8th person to be executed by nitrogen since its enforcement. It continues to raise concerns of violations of the 8th Amendment.

17/10/2025: #RichardDjerf was executed for the 1993 murders of the Luna family. This was the second execution in Arizona this year and the 39th nationwide. He was executed by lethal injection and was pronounced dead 15 minutes after the initial drug was administered.

15/10/2025: Charles Ray Crawford has been executed by lethal injection in Mississippi. He was sentenced to death for the murder of Kristy Ray. Charles Crawford is the state's 2nd and the nation's 38th execution this year.

14/10/2025: Missouri has executed Lance Shockley after he was denied clemency by Governor Kehoe. His final statement was, "So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice and no one will take your joy from you."

Roy Lee Ward's final words were, "Brian is going to read them." No media were present in the witness room.

09/10/2025: Robert Roberson's execution has been halted by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

His team filed a Notice of New Evidence, highlighting judicial misconduct. Judge Bascom Bentley's misconduct "prejudiced Mr Roberson's guilt" and "caused structural error".

29/09/2025: The Utah Supreme Court ruled in favour of Ralph Menzies, who was scheduled to be executed on Friday 5th September. Ralph Menzies now has the chance for a competency evaluation to address the concerns over his dementia.
