FATE! it's stupid simple. the system is basically just i have two or three aspects a couple stunts and you literally make up what they do when you create your character.

Short answer... yes. Generally if I am reading front to back to learn the rules it's on a tablet but I will use the phone or laptop for reference if it is the device that is at hand.

Maybe you are the type that over preps. Try a rules light RPG that requires less prep and see if that helps.
