Not mad at it though; it must be wildly fun to sing and finally something rhythmically kinetic.

This arrangement of "I saw three ships" is both completely masterful, 💯 no notes, but also seems perfectly calibrated to make me go insane this early in the day. It's been in like seventy five keys and there is a glissando into 9 out of 10 downbeats. #9LC

...but the end of this carol is WILD. It's like that weird period of Early Messiaen before it got really freaky. Beautiful stuff. #9LC

It's so weird to hear Rutter in such keys as E, A, or C, because normally he's featuring some French-ass chaos during Christmastide. #9LC
