It would be nice if there was a service that let you buy/rent/burn series and movies that have been delisted/removed from all other services. I see you've said you personally don't want to buy, but for myself I've always wanted a "Buy Physical" option on streamers where they directly send anything.

I don't know who needs to hear it, but Columbo is very good and a chill, calm detective show. Even the murders keep it low vibes.

I miss the wonder and magic they held, a completely different world from home, possibilities in what you choose. Hmm, couldn't this same playbook be used by gun control lobbies? Might not be great for your brand if your credit card was used to purchase deadly weapons. Australia obviously doesn't run that risk, but in the US it might be a different reaction. These cards are used to buy worse things than porn.

S3E3 of #Foundation ... this show has gotten very good.

Major props to the writing team, cast, directors, and production who put this sequence together.

Madame Web is a terrible bland cake that I want all my friends to try so they too cannot get the taste out of their mouths. The most amazing thing about it is that Sony still thought they could make more non-Spider-Man films after it. One would think Web shame would end it, but Sony is too "brave."

I could be mistaken, but I believe they experimented with changing the order of episodes for different users when the series was first released. Maybe they refreshed something in the system causing it to swap them again?

Matrix Reloaded also has a terrible exposition dump dialogue scene when Neo and Trinity return to Zion and first meet The Kid character. It's unnecessary and for a character with little significance to the rest of the movie.

Not to disparage everyone who participates in Civil War Reenactments, but this guy definitely looks like someone who has spent a lot of time in the sun repping the south at them.

Love these two films. I saw Sorcerer in theater a few years back. Went in not knowing anything about it. I was absolutely blown away and in suspense the whole ride. Awesome soundtrack too.

Jesus Christ, Jr. or as he's known today, Carl's Jr.

"Eely Karvis" played by Fisayo Akinade in S3E2 of "Foundation." A man answers the question "Does it work?" by describing a process of weaponry in a very poetic way. He watches the scene unfold as he describes part of it as, "And then, touched by stolen fire and super-radiant energy,". The room around him is darkly lit, two figures behind him are dimly seen. They are lit solely by something in front of them, to the image's right. They wear scifi outfits, with Karvis's a somewhat formal grey shirt with a half-colar and rippled shoulders.

Karvis tells the character "Dawn" (Terrence Mann), "Witness" and turns a dial held in his hands. Karvis watches the screen as Dawn stands with his back to it. A green monitor holograph casts a teal light on Karvis as he stands in the background to Dawn's right. Dawn's back, facing the camera, is lit in orange by something we cannot see. The orange light glows in Dawn's white hair and glints off his gold draped shoulders.

Dawn turns and stares in stern antipatory seriousness. He is now in focus and brought forward into the shot with the orange light highlighting his glare.

If we get household robot helpers based on these LLM technologies, I fully expect them to poison people's food and then lie about them being dead to whomever comes to check in. I wouldn't trust these things to code, let alone drive a car or fold laundry.

I haven't watched a Netflix WWE stream since, but I'm glad my curiosity had me tune in for the first one so I could see the shitheel get booed during his pathetic commercial bit. 🎉
