Next up on my project to stop enriching asshole techbro billionaires... telling Google it can no longer have access to the photos on my phone.

I've got self-hosting figured out. I just need to copy everything off the phone, make sure it's not backed up in the cloud, and get a new camera app.

If it makes you feel any better, it also takes insane amounts of power to run as well.

On Thursday, I took the day off to go cross country skiing with Sarah at Waterville. We finally made it up the very steep Beanbender trail, which was once a downhill trail. We used all the techniques - herringbone, side stepping, and carrying our skis in disgust.
