5 years ago I created this month long challenge, to develop a new “whimsical” style. This was what I created over September 2020. One x-character a day and then combining them all into this image. The style has evolved, but it’s nice to look back at its beginning.

The Fish and the Ring was one of my first few watercolour painting that sold. It not only sold in a gallery in Australia but it was also a feature illustration in the FASERIP TTRPG manual, Epic Fantasy.

WIP of a character design for a gnome Druid

I rolled up a Gnome and a Druid, so now I’m half way through. After 5 hours work I think I’m finally happy with the direction this is going.

I can be a pretty slow artist sometimes, so these next few digital pieces are going to be my #10hourchallnge to myself.
