One bad commutation produces ten thousand times the outrage of thousands of unnecessary incarcerations.

If you are chiming in only now, ask yourself why you are demanding perfection here, but not on those we lock up in our sadistic prisons?

Why does mercy anger you but cruelty does not?

We need 'Truth IN Justice' NOT 'Injustice'!!! Change the law, end the corruption! Stop wrongful convictions! No more "Life Without Parole (LWOP)!"

Yes... and all the while, there are wrongfully convicted Americans in prisons across the country! We don't have 'Truth In Justice' and innocent Americans are being executed or given 'death by prison cells', a.k.a., "Life Without Parole (LWOP)!!!"
So much for, "NO One being above the law!!!"

Last week the DC Court of Appeals decided a hotly contested attorney discipline case. Two prosecutors withheld information, leading to a wrongful conviction that was later overturned. The majority held they violated ethics rules but gave them a slap on the wrist; a dissent would have gone further.

Texas is going to murder, by leathal injection, Robert Robertson - an innocent man - tonight. He was convicted 20 years ago on what is now considered Junk Science, and also because his affect was not considered normal - he's #ActuallyAutistic
The Texas state board was unanimous in denying a stay.
Please continue
to ask Abbott's office to grant a 30 day reprieve for Robert Robertson.

-A Texas state board on Wednesday declined to stop what could be the first execution in the U.S. in a case tied to the diagnosis of shaken baby syndrome, rejecting clemency pleas from a man whose claims of innocence have drawn wide support, including from Republican lawmakers and a detective who say the conviction was based on faulty science.
The parole board voted unanimously, 6-0, to not recommend that Robert Roberson's death sentence be commuted to life in prison or that his execution be delayed.
The uncertainty surrounding shaken baby syndrome has also led to reevaluations of many criminal cases. Since 1992, the convictions of at least 34 people in the U.S. have been vacated when allegations of shaken baby syndrome or abusive head trauma were a factor, according to the National Registry of Exonerations, which tracks sentences for wrongful convictions
The appeals court denied the inmate's latest appeal on Wednesday. That court last week ordered a new trial for a man sentenced to 35 years in prison for his conviction
