I really wish job postings would just say in clear English that they will not sponsor you on the page itself.

I know this industry hates juniors, but please stop having me rewrite my resume just to tell me I’m ineligible due to my location mid application.

I think services such as Discord or messenger should have a feature that is basically like “no you go first“ when you’re both typing at the same time.

Sleeping in my hotel room and honestly feel so emotional at the moment. I know the scholarship has barely started, but after feeling rejected so much from the games industry, meeting European friends via the scholarship who treat me like one of their own and as a true friend is….an amazing feeling.

It was great! Talks a bit of the history of chocolate (naturally). They also give you chocolate at a few places. I only wish I did a guided tour, so maybe I might pop in if I can figure it out 😅 Recommended!

Booked my train tickets, and now I’m all set to head to Köln and later holiday in Nederland! I’m still pretty anxious, but it should be fun

On that note, I’ve been learning a lot of swear words from playing games with Japanese subtitles, and when I tell my Japanese friends, they get impressed that I know such horrible language. It’s really funny.

I’ve noticed considerable progress in my Japanese and it’s made me very happy.
I’ve been able to watch cutscenes in Japanese games and be able to understand 80% of it, which is huge for me.
Japanese is considered one of the hardest languages for English speakers, so this makes me very happy :)

I've been putting Japanese dramas (mostly video games) on my 2nd monitor to train my brain not to treat Japanese as unintelligible noise, and it has worked so well that I can now hear how overacted and ridiculous the dialogue is.

Like did someone really say 答えは、Noか？(So the answer is no?)
