Who caused a scene yesterday? This gal! I’m ok, I think, I am just embarrassed and have a hell of a headache! #whoops

Our “wonderful” neighbors stole our food delivery tonight. Delivered to the wrong house first of all, told us someone with kids came out to accept the delivery. Um, we don’t have young kids. We got a refund, but seriously? Our porch light is on, address is on our house, name is on the order. UGH!

Locally made ice cream with my apple cider snickerdoodles (and Fuhrman’s apple cider) is in my possession!

Dipping lemon shortbread cookies in a tangy lemon glaze. These were a big hit at the wedding this summer!

Mine have been horrendous lately, too!

Nooooooooooooo!! 🥺😭 RIP Oscar’s biggest lemon that he’s given us so far (just about an inch long). Dave just came inside from taking the dogs outside and handed me this and said “I’m sorry. I found this lying on the porch.”

My candy corn gnomes are a bit, erm, unfortunately shaped, but are much cuter when they are decorated!

You have no idea how much this delights me. I found a turkey hat like the one that I have - for Goosille Ball!! as I type this, I am sitting in the living room with this turkey hat on my head, waiting for Dave to come home so I can show him our matching hats. #iboughtthiswithmyadultmoney

I’m testing out a new cookie recipe. It’s an apple butter Snickerdoodle. So far the reviews have been very positive!

My dogs were given new toys by my neighbor and Meatball claimed them both for himself!

A few more things I found going through my in-law’s things! If that mushroom cookie jar doesn’t sell at our yard sale on Saturday, it’s going to live here. I’m not sure where to put it, but it it can stay if it needs to!

We’ll be ready for 814 day!

Somebody drooly really wanted a bite of the strawberries I was cutting up for dessert tomorrow. Who was I to deny him (also, his chest floof is looking extra majestic tonight)?

I just realized it looks like I’m printing on slices of Kraft singles. I promise they are cookies!

I just can’t escape them now! Two more orders for the nesting doll cookies like the ones I made for that huge order at the end of May (not nearly that many this time, one order is a dozen the other is 55 cookies).

We’re getting Dave measured for a foot brace today. He has developed drop foot (resulting in several near falls and one fall in a parking lot). He will need back surgery to open up the space where the stenosis is the worst and to clean out the crud in his lower back, but that will be later this year

Thank you. We are all ok right now, just very shocked at how quickly everything happened!

Last night we said farewell to Dave’s mom, Judy after a brief fight with a very aggressive cancer. We may not have always gotten along, but that didn’t make me love her any less! She will be missed!
