The Toledo City Council Mobility, Sustainability & Beautification Committee is hosting a Bike Month Hearing this upcoming Wednesday, May 7th at 4pm. We don't know what is on the agenda for this hearing yet, but it would be great for Toledo's bicycling community to show up.

The bike lanes roughly connect with the Sylvania River Trail at Harroun Park and provide an alternate option to the Silica Drive route when traveling either way between Downtown Sylvania and points south.

The bike lanes end short of Monroe Street and Convent Boulevard at each end and require taking the lane to continue on Main Street in either direction.

In more 2024 additions, the City of Sylvania reconstructed and installed bike lanes on Main Street between the bridge over Tenmile Creek and Convent Boulevard.

The City of Toledo recently announced their 2025 Road Construction list. From that list 4 projects appear to include bicycling infrastructure components (improvement to many neighborhood residential roads will also improve conditions for bicycling).
