How is that even still a thing that games ship with? It's patently insane. If you're used to inverted Y, the game is unplayable without it!

Here's our only remaining unnamed vehicle. Other vehicles are named Needle, Raptor, Wasp, and Brute - single words. We want to keep that convention. Top candidates are "U-Drive" (dorky, but I like it) and "Pincer" (more in keeping with the others I think). What would you call this vehicle?

Yeah.... this is why I need an art team. Frankly it's surprising I was able to produce this much.

My little whiteboard to-do list reads: Meteors, animations, Laser beam.

I love my job.

Whether it's writing or game development, this seems to be a creative constant: Everything you were so excited about yesterday looks like unworkable crap today. Truth is somewhere in the middle, so once again - deep breath, ride it out.

Step 1: open a new social media account for the first time in like ... five? ... years
Step 2: Close it and get back to work

I'm sure this will probably stop happening at some point, but despite starting my second year working on SEAR I still get a little thrill every time I open UE5. If we fail abjectly, no one buys the game or likes the idea, it'll have been worth it just to work on an awesome idea with awesome people.
